How long does the cabin filter last before you have to replace it?

The manual says 15000 miles.

The pdf Owner's Manual I just looked in said 16,000 miles OR 12 Month intervals, whichever occurs 1st.

How easy is the filter to access. We just had an extreme pollen season at the beginning of spring and every time I fire up the air without using recirc the interior def smells of nature. So I wanted to pop out the filter and see if I could knock any excess pollen build up that might be on it off if any. If not I guess it's time for some vent clip air febreeze thingys lol
