HELL NO! :glee:

When I bought my Jan 2013-build date Bianco in mid March, I wanted it base 'cept for the Beats (lovin' the Boneyard) and was fortunate to have found this one.

I like 16's for the nearly one-inch lower ride height. My dealer had four such Abarths, all omitting the side stripe which is what I wanted because I think the car visually looks lower without the stripe. However, after three weeks of walking towards the car in lots, I felt it was missing something...so to keep it somewhat discreet, I scorp'd the rearviews. Now I'm waiting for someone to come along and ask me why I have lobster decals on the car. :p

I can always answer "because I was born in Maine." xyxwave

FWIW, I haven't had this much fun rowing through the gears since I had my X1-9. Fiats are flat out fun cars to drive and I cut my teeth on more than a few while living in Italy in the early 80's.

Looks good...

I am also a fan of the 16's, more for the ride quality than the height...

I also love the look of the 16's more than the 17's, and am glad the 16's come with the all season tires...

I think no matter how old you are it's OK to put a bunch of obnoxious stickers and decals on the Abarth. At least that's what I did, and I've never put any stickers on my cars before. Maybe it looks like a 16 year old is driving, but you only live once.

You're only too old for decals when you're too old to have fun. :)

Decals are fine, as long as its NOT Japanese. ha

The Abarth was made to be obnoxious in a tacky Italian exotic race car way.

thats why mine will look like it has a picnic table on the roof when i do my
red checkerboard roof on white this weekend. :)

47 years young here, 9" red scorpion on the hood and 2.5" ones all around on the rear side windows and hatch glass.

Running a special on Boris-lobsters, heh

The Fiat 500 is a car that has it's own unique quirkiness to it, decals further let the owner individualize their car so it stands apart from the crowd.. As long as you don't over do it with some Ridiculous Flames and whatnot. Simple strips, Scorpions, Logos, etc.. No biggie, most of the they look nice on this car.

You're not too old as long as you own the car, you can still be young @ heart.. The only way to know you're too old is if you're going 60 mph in the Fast Lane in a Pre-owned Toyota Prius ;] Haha :fruit:

I was never into decals on my cars, even when I was 16.. The Abarth just seems to pull it off better then most cars

Funny you say that, because I was planning to install a big scorpion on my roof today and I will turn 49 in a couple weeks. Too bad it is raining so I will have to postpone.

Here's a few decals on mine, the big ABARTH windshield banner also blocks the sun, and the red Pirelli sticker on the back adds more Italiano.

The Fiat is a decal Magnet! This car is a lot like a Can-Am Spyder. No 2 the same .It's one of very few vehicles in the world that each and every one of them has a unique personality that ask's it's owner to find it out, put it togther and show it to everybody to admire. It gets people to talk to each other, and when you go to rallies you don't have to worry about any body with the same. As far as age? I've been doing that for years. I'm 64. My car is in stripe section, and i'm just startin.....

I like the clean look. I am old. Tattoos are for the youngsters. I know what lurks under the hood of my car. I don't need to advertise it anymore than the factory already has advertised it. I ordered the base Abarth because that was enough for me.

But, whatever makes you happy. Go for it.

Wow... I gotta admit... your ride looks really nice with just the minimal decals! Definitely "stormtrooper" look to it, especially with the tinted windows. Awesome job!

All that's left is to clear out your side marker lamps!
