Are there any tracks on LI?

Bridgehampton was the only road race track and closed many years ago.

This is my first time attending anything like this. Is it common for people to just come for one day of events? I may only come in for Sunday due to my schedule. It's only a 45 minute drive from my house to Hauppauge, So I would likely drive home afterward. I may be able to take a day off of work to attend Saturday also, but that's tentative. Does it make sense to only come for one day?

If you come on Sunday only, you will miss the big show. If you are only able to come one day, make it Saturday. That is the big day not to miss. Also, the Sat dinner and social hour is a lot of fun. Hope to see you there.

Sunday only would be anticlimatic. Yes, you would get to meet some nice people as see some Fiats, but the BIG day is Saturday!

Just a reminder that it is time to register! Anyone who is within 300 miles of Long Island should really try to make this. If you've been to a FreakOut you know why. If you've never been, it's time to go. And we have a great deal on an excellent hotel, the LI Hyatt Regency. Even locals should really consider taking advantage of the super room rate we got for those attending FreakOut. These low rates are guaranteed until 6/29.
Info all here:

Hey, Rick, good question. For everyone's information, to attend FIAT FreakOut there are two steps:

1) Be a member of FIAT Club America
You can pay full membership for $35, or just for Fiat FreakOut for $20.00

2) Register on line or by mail for all Fiat FreakOut activities.
There are charges for some things like meals, of course. Drives are free, but we still need you to register so we can plan the event.

The FIAT FreakOut 30th annual National Convention will be July 18-21, 2013 on Long Island, NY. It is time to book the hotel and get yourself registered and help make this the biggest show in years!

Room discount of $119(+taxes) ends and late registration penalties will apply after June 29.

Great news!

Your hard working FreakOut committee has successfully negotiated an extension of the room rates to July 1st. Room rates are $119 per night through 07/01/13, after that the rate jumps to $180 per night. Call the hotel directly at 631 784 1234 and mention FIAT for this price!

Even if you are local to Long Island, at these great rates you may consider staying at the Hyatt for a day or two, to relax and enjoy all Fiat FreakOut has to offer. Don’t forget that the traditional parking lot party lasts through the wee hours of the night.

If you are from out of town, make it a longer stay (check out our Long Island Guide!) https://www.fiatclubamerica.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/2013-FFO-program-guide1.pdf

And, as a result, we’ve also extended the FreakOut registration deadline to avoid the late fee of $30 to July 1st. Visit https://www.fiatclubamerica.com/ to register for our 30th Annual Convention
