    Driver's inflatable knee-bolster airbag

I see this on my online window sticker. My car is due to arrive at the Studio next week and I suppose I could wait to find out but thought I'd ask here. Anyone know what this is? It infers something the driver can control with some sort of pumping action. Perhaps to alleviate the knee from bumping against the console? Any thoughts?

That is a safety item. Like the airbag in the steering column or the passenger side dash, the 500 has an airbag to protect or attempt to protect your knee(s) in the event of an accident severe enough to trigger the airbags.
