I just installed a aftermarket armrest purchased from Wood Company Italy. It required welding a strap to each side and attaching to floor using bolt holding seats to floor...Works perfectly...91 euros plus 35 euros to ship.

Thanks but I meant pictures of the installation. I have seen the website before and was told it wouldn't fit our North American models of 500.

Does it cover the hole made by removing the stock mini armrest?

Website shows that its for European seats not NA.
I suggest you not buy it.
Look elsewhere.
I am happy not to have another place to store stuff I don't need.

Seems pretty apparent at this point that this is nothing but a spam post from the co that sells this item. I mean WELDING a strap...really??? But the site claims 5 minute easy installation. Appears like a non English speaker trying to pretend to be a part of this community....which I really have serious doubts about. As with so many things, there are parts and accessories that we just dont have yet in the US

I would be really interested in something like this if it becomes available, as the interior storage space in the car is seriously lacking :(

they look nice, but the attachment method of using sheetmetal screws into plastic turns me off. I can see a hard turn, lean on it for support... crack, broken plastic.

6198I put this mod on the back burner for a while because I did not want to drill a hole in my center console piece so I purchased a used one from ebay. After removing the original piece and attaching (WOOD Bros) to used part, I can not for the life in me get it to fit back in between the seats. This cars fitment is so tight it will not go in but one way and it is getting dark so maybe later on this weekend.

Finally got this to fit in the space, but will still remove the stock armrest later. 6410
It is nice to rest my arm and shift as well. Bonus place to store stuff.
