My 22 month old granddaughter has a ball "driving" ours cars. She'll sit in the driver's seat and use every control she can find. And then yell loud and long when she has to get out. She's "driven" our C30, S2000 and '70 Fiat 850 Spider (where she ran down my battery) but her favorite seems to be my '12 white Abarth. Since she has so much fun, we knew we had to get this battery-operated kids car when my wife found it online recently. This will be a Christmas present to both granddaughters (the other is 3 but lives in NOLA so we have to wake anxiously).

Oh cool. I've been tempted to buy one of those for my imaginary kid (or guess i could call it my internal kid) and then paint it to match my car. How's the quality of it? Also, would you mine taking more pics of the back, inside and front? Most the vendor stores that sell it use the same exact red or white images.

AWESOME!!! THANKS FOR POSTING!! What good grandparents you guys are!!! Good taste too.

I am gonna order one for my son, his sister got nice jewelry and I have been putting off getting the one from abarthUK becuase of the shipping costs.

Nevermind...found it...its on its way. I am confused though..is this a toy for me or him?

Very cool. So are you planning any mods before you give them the cars??

Im gonna let him help me change the 500 stuff to abarth stuff(stickers)...already looked up how to change 6volts to 12volts. Is that bad?

Quality is OK, nothing special. It's all plastic so it won't take a beating but for the intended market (it will prolly only fit maybe 3-5 year holds) it should be fine. Battery is small and no quick charger but should be adequate. It's a cheap car and is constructed as such.

I'll try to remember to take a few more shots in the morning.

If more than your foot fits in it, you're a midget!

More pics and a warranty claim (wouldn't be a Fiat otherwise, eh?). The "ignition" switch isn't working properly so I'll be working on getting that fixed. A simple toggle switch would be my fallback fix if I can't get replacement parts or a working car. FYI, the Off position is straight up and down and ON is clockwise 90 degrees. It's not marked.

Here are more pics of the car. I have a video of turning the car on that I'll have to upload someplace and link to. It's pretty cool and worth seeing.

Just a heads-up - check out the latest Sears ad, the one with little "Jack" running around the store with Dad in hot pursuit. Here's the Youtube clip (start at :15 for the Fiat):
