Ok so I have a question:

The Abarth has a nasty growl when idling as well as when accelerating. Without buying an Abarth (eliminates the smarta$$ comments LOL), what is the best setup exhaust wise to get that growl? I was going to blow up the exhaust piping to 2 1/4 (stock looks to be 2"), have no resonator and a racing bullet muffler. Any thoughts?

Ended up putting 2 1/4" pipe all the way, no resonator and a racing bullit muffler. Growl is louder than the abarth and sounds really mean. I will try and get a sound clip as soon as I can up.

Working on a custom bolt-on exhaust kit so others can have as well. Stay tuned...

It's hard to do as the abarths sound is somewhat created by the blades of the turbo. However I have a flow master muffler on my turbo spider and it sounds exactly like the Abarth. Albeit louder.

So a flow master will give you that metal pipe type sound but the broken sound wave tone created in the turbo will be hard to recreate. Neither will make your car fast as an Abarth tho. And in my opinion a car that sounds fast while going nowhere is not impressive in the least.
