Had a chance to do a custom clear bra on this Abarth. Must say, it's a fun car to drive.

Nice work! You must have prior experience doing this type of application. I would think the toughest part with the application is eliminating bubbles and wrinkles at bends and edges. As for me, I would hire a professional to do this job as I am very knit picky when it comes to my cars, especially my Abarth.

Looks great! I've just dropped off my ABARTH at a professional shop for custom clear bra, hope it will look this good! :)

From what the OP wrote and that this is his first post, I'd infer that he IS in the ppf business.

Yes you are correct. I have a paint protection business in the Bay Area and it's an exciting job because I get to work with nice cars. As for bubbles and wrinkles, sufficient lighting during the install will minimize them. When you're ready for paint protection film, be sure to ask the installer for references and pictures of past work.

I got my friend's company to do the 3m on my car the day after I picked it up. Full hood, bumper, fenders, lights, then a few extras.

It always scares me when I see people cutting the kit on the car. My friend designs all of his own kits and custom fits every one so there is no knife anywhere near the car. I have just seen too many bad installs over the years and actual cuts in the paint from people trimming the kit on the car...

I bought a full Xpel Precut kit for my Abarth.. Completely covers the front bumper, hood, front fenders, & mirrors.. But I added My A Pillars, front half of roof, and door cups as well.. Pretty awesome stuff! I'm still planning to add film on the lights and side skirts too though
