Has anyone had any experience with 3M Crystalline film? Heat? Looks ?

I had a Lotus Esprit with a glass roof - the car is practically a green house when parked under the southern California sun. Then I had the Crystalline film installed and I got the 90% (aka 10% tint), which is the lightest available. It made a HUGE difference with heat.

I am trying to decide whether to tint my Abarth or not. I don't want to darken the windows more than i have to to keep the suns rays from heating and damaging the interior. My current vehicle has limo tint on rear and rear side windows, and the darkest leagal tint for fronts in Ontario, Canada which i believe is 30% and don't like it being so dark i cant see well enough at night even the fronts are darker than id like. If 10% will do the trick I may just got that route as well.

I have a friend whos been installing window tint on both cars and buildings for about 10 years , he now swears by and uses exclusively Madico brand window tint, he says it lasts so much longer than any other brands that its worth the extra price. http://www.madico.com/window-film/automotive/

First of all, I'm sorry to bump a really old thread but that site (above) has tons of inaccurate information. It was sold in 2013 and since that time it hasnīt been updated. If interested in tint laws, check this site for up-to-date listings (http://windowtintlaws.org).
