On Facebook, Fiat of Las Vegas just posted 10 pictures of 2 Abarths that just happened to stop by
on their way home to Michigan.
I would post pictures, but I am not sure how. Have a look.

I hope the production models don't have the plain black engine covers these two appear to have. Fiat Red with a Scorpion, YES!

I'm sure those are just the pre-production version. All the ads show the red/silver covers.

Finally a picture of the 16" wheels on the car.....there is a reason they haven't shown them off...to my eyes at least. Looks like the 17's for me.

Cheers

Thanks for the link. What genius decided to pair the white stripe kit with grey wheels and the black stripe kit with white wheels. Great job Chryco Marketers, lol.

If the above was a statement, I didn't find that to be true at all. If it was a question, the answer is NO you do not have to have a Facebook login to see them. Trust me, I do NOT have a Facebook ANYthing.

Great pics! The 16" wheels look nice, but I personally like the 17" wheels more, just not in white, prob be a nightmare to keep clean!

Huh, maybe it's my phone or something but I can't get to the pictures. I get redirected to a login page.

I'll try at home later.

I agree, I don't like it either. I think the 16"s look good with the exception of the center caps.

Same center cap that came with my esseesse wheels, I didnt like them either and chose to reuse my stock chrome ring caps.

Yea I'm disappointed with those 16" wheels too. I'm hoping they look better on my grigio Abarth. If not I'll buy a set of aftermarket wheels and tires for about the same price as Fiat wants for the 17" option.
As for that engine cover, that's one of my pet peeves. They are the biggest waist of natural resources on a car. I will throw mine in the corner as soon as I get home, but If you like them they're easy to take off and paint any color you want.

Keep in mind the $1000 17" wheel option is for forged wheels, not cast.

I've had a hard time finding forged wheels for $250 a corner, so I think it's a decent bargain (less the fact you'd have the 16" set as well...) hmm. :-)

Does anyone know what the roof looks like if you do not get a sunroof? Is it all body color, or is there always a black part to the roof?

Terrific job, wish I knew how to do that. Which brings me to a question(one others would like to see also. Has anyone seen a picture or photoshop of a White Abarth with the Hyper-Black 17" 'shopped on? That's the combo I'm looking at now but, of course, I can't find any pictures of a white Abarth except with white wheels (It would take a serious case of cleaning OCD to buy white wheels). I would certainly appreciate the picture.

Thanks!

You know you want to have identical cars :)

Trust me.... Where I live, I'll be the only Abarth in 100 square miles! If you can find the picture (or if someone else can do one up), I'd really appreciate it. Should be ordering in a few days (whenever the dealer calls...I'm first on the list at our Studio).

Cheers

Thanks! Here is a try. Due to the lighting, I could not tell from the pics of the black Abarth I got the wheels from if they are pure gloss black or a dark "gun metal" gray. This chop makes them look more gray than black. If someone know they really are black, I can make them darker.

Fiat calls them Hyper Black, however, they are more like Dark Graphite than pure black.

I have heard people either really like the P Zero's or they think they are junk. I am just curious to why the extremes?

People are expecting different things from tires. If you are planning on a high performance summer tire to wear nicely and last 30k miles you will hate them. If you want the max grip from a summer tire they aren't the best. However, for a tire that comes standard on the car you really can't complain too much if you want them for grip. At least they didn't throw all seasons on the 17" option.

Thanks very much. It's exactly what I wanted and shows exactly what I now want! I can order w/o remorse and feel like I'm not settling. Thanks again, that picture made up my mind. The red wheel centers bring the whole package together, at least to my eyes.

Cheers!
