ANSA Automotive Parts Distributors, Inc. located in Macon, GA is looking for a nearby Fiat 500 owner who is willing to drive to our facility and allow research and development of the exhaust system on the US version of the Fiat 500. We currently have the European systems for the standard and Abarth versions but they are different for the US.

In return, ANSA will provide and install the final performance system on your automobile. You'll be the first with the ANSA US Exhaust system!

Nice people over at ANSA and I think you will be impressed with the finished product. Looked good on the car and sounded amazing. Quiet at idle and while cruising but very sexy and rich sounding from about 2500 to 4000 rpm under load. The stainless tips are gorgeous and slightly offset to follow the contour of the bumper when viewed from above.

I am set to buy an exhaust real soon and want to make the best well informed decision that I can. Is there a link on You Tube yet?

Thanks,

Arman

Dual tip on the left side? Does the spare tire still fit?

This is what I am told the finished tips would look like. They will not have to modify the bumper and fits with the spare tire, which my car does have. Pure bolt on instal with no mods to the car. I asked if the tips would be too close to the bumper as I was concerned about the tips melting the bumper cover and they showed me that the tips are insulated and that the outer stainless shell would not pose a melting hazard. Very good look, tight to the body. Looks like it could have come that way from FIAT. We will see for sure when the finished product arrives. Remember, I do NOT work for ANSA, my car Olive was just their model.

I like the look. Is it a true stainless exhaust, or just the tips? Also, is it cat back?

Thanks,

Arman

It is just from the middle resonator back. The cat in that car is tucked up in the engine compartment. The tips are stainless, they are working in final specs for the rest of the materials. I did speak with the general manager and was told they are working to keep it very affordable. It did sound and look good though.

Was there any hint of an "available date"? I may pull the trigger on the Borla in January unless another option crops up...

Hopefully, Hal from ANSA can answer these questions for you all. I was told 60-90 days which puts it in the Jan-Feb time frame. Hal..come on back!
