I purchased my 2013 Abarth back in March of this year. He was named Vincenzo. I went for a test drive and felt a little disappointed expecting a bit more from the car. I did not realize the function of the sport button. I went back the next day to drive again, pressed sport and the papers were being signed that afternoon.

Mods I have done is a power peddle with RRM Ultimate which I picked up 2nd hand, also a K&N drop in filter. Then a few months ago I swapped in a cluster from a 2015 Sport which I pulled from the wrecking yard. Last weekend I installed a SILA turbo blanket from Madness' Black Friday Sale.

I did do plugs and an oil change when I brought him home. The Acura dealer I purchased it at had taken it to FIAT down the street and it had new tires and brakes when I got him. Also the driver window was slow and the passanger fell off the track while test driving and they fixed both as well.

I have had 2 issues since I got him. There was a chip in the windshield which I cracked while trying to repair was able to seal the crack and it has not spread. Second was a few weeks after purchase he went into limp mode on the highway and I was getting an error about High Air Flow and CEL with codes P2172 and P2173. It ended up being a cap of the intake blew off and I capped it and put a clamp and no issues since.

Love this car and enjoy driving it daily. It is as fun as Jessica, my 1984 Rabbit GTI, not only in fun factor but in handling as well.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your car! Did you name your Abarth? Also, fill us in on how you swapped the 2015 instrument panel in. People would love to know!

Thanks. The Abarth is named Vincenzo. As for the swap followed the instructions here http://500crew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1354. I purchased the OBD and Fiat yellow interface from ebay, and purchased a license for MULTI ECU SCAN (https://www.multiecuscan.net/). Installation is pretty easy. Remove the steering column plastics 4 screws, remove the cluster cover 3 screws, and remove cluster screws 4. First time I also removed the dash trim but learned you do not need to. Here is a clip of what it looks like.
