Added a 2018 500X Urbana to the stable. Needed something a tad larger than the 500 for bigger items and hauling more than two people around. Urbana AWD with cold weather and driver safety package (love the heated seats and steering wheel!).

Not sure what all the hub-bub was about the nine speed transmission but it seems fine to me. Maybe the newer models have the bugs ironed out. The "sport mode" is surprisingly aggressive with the shift points. It holds gears longer like I do when driving the manual Abarth.

The only thing I miss is a CD player! I'm old school. No "smart phone" and can't waste the time to rip CD's to a stick. Oh well, time marches on...

Nice! Love the Urbana package. I use an ipod Nano. Keep it in the center console. Yep...most bugs have been worked out of the transmission. The magazines just haven't received the memo yet. Enjoy it.

Sharp looking car! Love the look. Like most things you read about Fiats, take it with a grain of salt or better yet, just dismiss it. laugh2 The misinformed regurgitate the same crap from 40 years ago. With the 500X, the journalist types keep repeating the transmission impressions from the pre-production cars we drove in April 2015.

Enjoy your car and post more pics! :naughty:

Very nice! Congrats on the new addition! I picked up a ‘17 Pop the week before Christmas and loving it. My first Fiat.

They all have the memos. They just insist on hating. In their faces. LOL

I just want the lights, handles and trim. I wish they would’ve offered the Urbana with a manual and real Fiat engine.

Congrats! We just replaced a 2016 Easy with a 2017 Urbana, and I can vouch for much better shifting on the auto in both sport and drive modes. We missed out on cold weather, but we're loving the seats, all the trim, and the sunroof.

Maybe it was just me, but the Beats subwoofer started sounding better when we added the spare tire to the back.
