HI All, I want to put '13 Lounge seats into a '15 500e and ran into a female/female connection issue on the pax seat (stopped there so didn't see what might be the issue with the driver's seat). Is this a Lounge vs 500e issue or a '13 vs '15?

Is there an available solution, like an adapter? If not, can a '15 seat harness simply replace a '13 harness (assuming it's a change between MYs and not the models)? That would solve my problem easily, assuming the same circuits go with the same pins (maybe a bad assumption).

Thanks for any help.

It’s only the passenger side. You can swap bases to make it happen. An upholstery shop could do it for not a lot of cash, especially if you bring the seats to them. We had this done before and it cost us about $75.

Thanks. I see that I can order a harness for '14 through '17 from the Fiat Web Store. Would be easier swapping the harness compared to the vinyl/leather I would think, but I don't know if the '14-'17 harness connections to the seat is the same as the '12 and '13 (obviously the connection to the car is different).

So anyone know if a '14-'17 seat harness will plug into a '13 seat?

For any others who might need to do this, I simply swapped the seat harnesses between the '13 and '15 pax seats. Now the '13 seat works in my '15 car. If I didn't have that harness already I could have ordered it; the swap is not difficult.
