My x is my winter vehicle so I changed the tires out to some Continental Extreme winter tires. Also cleaned and waxed the rims also.
Thanks

Snow has been dumped in the Windy City!!! lol As our city is well known to have people taking their rightful ownership of the spot they dug out with various contraptions, I can just plow right into any un-shoveled spot and get out with no problem! LOL

Reminds me of the notorious Pittsburgh parking chair.

Same here.
I got to drive my wife's car yesterday when we had fresh snow, slightly packed by cars. Each turn was nice slide. I loved the way ESC OFF allowed me to play with sliding. I wish it was more defeat-able, though.

But yes, any snow, any depth, and the car just goes through. Clearance of 8", snow tires, and AWD - it just goes.

Wish I could find thoese stretches of road to slide in too!!! There are just too many cars here in the city. -__- Kinda missed the numerous mountainous, backcountry, and logging roads in the state of Oregon. :P
