Looks nice, always worried me about the flat colors in terms of care for the finish.

Welcome to the forum too.

Thanks guys. When I saw this color I just knew I had to have it. It's holding up very well in the Florida sun.

Welcome to the forum. The 500X looks great in Bronzo Magnetico! Great job maintaining her.

You can buy car care products specially formulated for matte/satin or whatever finish you have.

Did not know this but never checked into it either of course.

I know I saw a matte finish at the dealer that someone had rubbed to clean (I assume) some spots and it had shiny spots all over it. :(

There's a right way to do things and a wrong way. Obviously, whoever was responsible for cleaning never bothered to learn the right way.

In this instance they did it the wrong way for sure but it did make me think how much more work might be involved with a matte finish. ;)

Thanks guys! To tell you all the truth I have only washed it 3 or 4 times since buying it. It really hides the dirt lol. When I did wash it I just used Meguiar's Ultimate Wash & Wax. it seems to do a really good job at cleaning all my cars.

Well I just had the rear spoiler replaced & repainted under warranty. It was fading VERY badly. Looked like the paint was 25 years old and never taken care of. only took from October of 2017 to Jan of 2018 to get it done but finally its all done. the respray looks a tad darker than the rest of the paint now but not bad enough for mt to complain about since I will be getting rid of it in a couple years or sooner. I'm just not happy with the overall build of the car (inside panels falling off and rattles on turns) and the shifting issues that started up where the Dealer says its normal even though it did not do that when I got the car ( hard shifting on cold start especially from 4th to 5th hard clunking down-shifting or up-shifting) Still not 100% right even after a TCM update.
