Did I just see on Facebook that you guys cracked the code?

They did announce that, yes.

I already ordered mine within minutes of the announcement ;)

Apparently you can get:

OBD Flash

ECU Clone

ED+Lite (next gen piggyback).

I think each was worked on in case the other didn't work out (such as the clone option, for example) but the result since they got all 3 working is choice choice choice.

This is awesome news. I may have to return my unused 500Madness piggyback and give Eurocompulsion a call tomorrow. Chris, I'll be calling you guys first thing tomorrow morning!

This is probably a dumb question but does the OBD2 void Fiats factory warranty?

Technically? It could void warranty on ECU related items or for certain engine failures. That's why they also offer the ECU Swap option, because you can put the untouched ECU back in for dealer visits.

In reality, the big turbo, intercooler, intake, turbo blanket, catless downpipe, etc, would get their attention LONG before they notice the flash counter on the ECU.

Thanks for the answer! I try to stick to upgrades that be easily taken off for when I have to get my car serviced. I'm definitely going to checkout the tunes and see which one is best for my needs.

Does the direct/clone work with 2013 Turbo

What's the difference between the 180HP and 190HP tunes? Are these numbers quoted on an otherwise stock car? What is max boost?

The difference between the 180hp tune and the 190hp tune is about 10hp.
But really, I think you have to be more specific as to what you are asking. I don't know of any tunes y EC for the Abarth that are 180 or 190hp.

Download the tech info PDF here: http://eurocompulsion.net/EURODRIVEABARTH500TTECH.pdf.

Page 3 shows the specific hardware requirements for each Phase. Phase 0 requires no modifications, while Phase 1 requires a cold air intake and regapped plugs.

pfft- I'll admit, I snorted out loud when I read that.

My 16 500X Pop is the same 1.4T. Do these same solutions work on mine?

We are working on a solution for these cars as well as the renegade as we speak. What we need is a car to work with if anyone is near the Oklahoma shop. Either a renegade or a 500X, we have tried this remotely but would like to have a car to work on in person.

Can the effects of the Lite for these vehicles be replicated as at least a base to start with in a hand held? What I’d love to do is eventually have a handheld for both her Abarth and my 500X.

Just checking back in. Is it a possibility yet?

it would be awesome to buy one tuner and just pay a fee for the second car and tune to run both cars.
