Reshot the photos today after I washed the car. The Conti True Contacts are a huge improvement in every category over the Nexens. Needs a little more air though...I'm running 38 front/36 rear. Great tire.

Those look nice. When I replaced my 18's with black Forgestars I feel like I should have gone 19's. The black trim around the wheel arches make the black wheels look so small.

One thing I like is the polished machined edge. Without the edge the black rim runs right into the black tire and in most situations it just looks like one big solid puck. I wanted to stay with 17s for better ride but I like the look of the larger wheels. Yes the trim does seem to expand the opening. Car seems happier with the lighter wheels :)

*** For what its worth Tirerack installed 433MHz Tire Pressure Sensors and they are working fine.

To each his own but I'm ready for the black wheel phase to be over. From a distance, you can't tell the fine details that make the wheel cool. I like the wheel style but it gets lost in the black color. The lip helps a little but not enough. I'm sure in person after a good wash, the car and wheel combo look fine. I'm old so don't take my comments to hard.

I agree on the 19".
When I look on our 18 on Trekking Plus, the side wall seems to be like 50% too high. OEM size is 215/55x18, so lots of cushion, but on the other hand not so much stability in turns. Kind of long response...

The nice look would be 215/45x20... eventually 215/50x19.
