The studio here local, where my son works.....just got a shipment of 17 L's.....nice colors....great prices (lower prices vs 16)...I'm SO tempted, to go trade mine in for a new one...or my wife told me, to go trade her 16 Trax in, on a new L......I wish I could afford to do it......I wonder, if they they will any big sales soon! :)

Mr Joe guess we only live once. Can your son find out about discounts or incentives. Think you said he was a Sr salesperson some where.

Yes, sir. He is working on that for me. I only have 6 payments on my L. My wife's 16 Trax has 14 payments down, so it would only work for us, to trade her's in. My son is going to try and find what promotions are coming. If I can get one of the $4,000 rebate coupons direct from Fiat, I will be in business!

Are you interested, yourself, too?

Just got a letter from the Austin dealer telling me how desirable my '15L is for trade-in. ;) Unfortunately, I don't see the value in trading for a '17 with virtually the same equipment(we have the Lounge). Seems the greatest changes for '17 have been in the pricing. Unless I missed it, still no auto-folding outside mirrors, no electronic start/memory entry/seat position memory/power hatch/...all things that cost $$$ but perhaps incentive to trade 'up'. We're good for now. 25k miles in 18 months with no significant problems. The Elle is a pretty cool car. Coming from a host of fairly luxo CUVs has been an eye-opener; but paying roughly half the price of our previous vehicles has been a treat. The XC60, Lexus RX, Acura RDX were all fine vehicle; but at a $18k-$25k bump in price. Not to mention the Elle is much easier to park in the townhouse garage! :)

Might I add, the recent interest rates below 2% is a HUGE change from the good old days(I think I paid 13% in the '80s at one point). I saw we paid a touch over $300 interest last year on our Elle(using someone else's twenty-four grand for twenty-five dollars a month is OK by me). It certainly does make it easier(not always a good thing) to finance yourself into a newer/nicer vehicle. Careful kids....

I was just messing around on Fiat's website and couldn't spec any of the 500L trims with a manual! What?!? I hope they offer it in a manual, but maybe not?...And I would definitely buy another one, if they stick the awd setup in it...that alone would have me waiting at the doors..

No more manual transmission 500Ls. In case you missed it: http://www.fiat500usa.com/2017/01/2017-fiat-500l-model-updates.html
