so that's the rally version? roll cage in side, looked like plastic windows, and whatever the thing on top is.

I would like to see it driven without mercy :onthego:. Any idea what has been done to the car?

Number one change is a 300hp 1750 TurboBenzina engine like the one used in the Giulietta QV and 4C sports cars. Plus other rally spec equipment. The roof scoop is there to build air pressure up in the cabin and help keep road dust from building up on the inside which could cut down the visability among other things.

I saw my first 124 at the dealer today and now I see this so....

I like the 124.... I LOVE the idea of a hardtop Abarth even if it is a plastic racing shell...this car could have no radio and I'd still be fine with it as a daily driver.

Told ya' so!

You'll be wanting it more and more, until you can't stand it any longer, and then…

Would it not be great to offer that engine in the mass produced Abarth or at least 30-40 more HP out of the 1.4L?

That would be great. Sadly, thank our stifling emission standards for precluding more power out of the MultiAir Turbo.

True, that.

It's good to be back. I moved my activity to FIATTech (almost exclusively). Then, I rediscovered this forum and poke my avatar around here'n'there.

I looked at FIATTech briefly, but the 124 threads were near zilch. So far, the most 124 activity is on the miata.net site, which has a dedicated FIAT sub-forum.

But this site has better quality 124 information, and true FIAT fans.

If I had to pick a car to sit beside the Abarth it'd be an Abarth version 124. :D

I do like the 124 but knowing what the Abarth looks like and now seeing this I have a more difficult time liking the normal 124 as much. :(

I must agree.

FIATTech is above average for modding info. This forum is good for modding info and the best for sharing general enthusiasm about the FIAT and ABARTH brands.
