So the other day I'm riding in my 500x and I notice that on the knob where it displays the temp it's not reading completely. Has anybody else had that issue? I will try and post photos but for some reason it's not allowing me to do so right now, has the forum changed the way they allow photos to be uploaded?

Yes as long as you can supply a direct link to the pix.

Mine came back on by itself.

It was actually the day I bought the car that I noticed it (but not until I got home, a good 45 minutes from the studio). The temp was set to 70, so the two bars in the display would not have been lit. When I got home and started playing around, I noticed the missing part of the '6'. I called my studio and they said to make an appointment, but it's such a minor thing I figured I'd wait for my first oil change. It wasn't even a week later and it started working normally all on its own and has been fine since. I hope yours does the same, I have no idea what would/could have caused it.

Mine is like that. with all my FCW issues I kept forgetting to bring it up when I brought the car in. It's annoying as all get out in the colder weather, but since I keep the car above 70 in the summer, it stopped annoying me. Should have it looked at before the fall, though.

The person who assembled the HVAC control assy may have not been grounded during installation at the factory causing a static charge. After a fashion the static dissipates and the segment starts to work.
