Hello everyone. How many 124 Spiders is your local studio expecting? I know that dealers just got to know these details on models coming in. Fiat of Austin is getting 20 in with half of them having a deposit and I was just curious as to how this amount compares to other studios. Also, how many of them that are coming in to your studio are already deposited on. Thanks and I can't wait for the arrival!

Hi mike, this is Tim with the white 500 abarth with blue wheels, we had met briefly when I came in to place a deposit on the 124 abarth.
Anyway, I spoke to another sales representative at westbury fiat yesterday, and from what she had told me they are expecting 8 mixed classica and lusso's in the automatic transmission trim only in late june. Following that in early july should be the classica's and lusso's with the manual transmission, and finally the abarths in late july early august. She did not tell me that they were expecting any prima's at all however.
Westbury has been pretty spot on with their info from the start of this, im assuming their numbers have changed since mikes post due to the delay in shipping, but can any other dealers confirm this is the way the are being sent out, automatic->manual->abarth? I mean this question not to discredit what Westbury is telling me, but just out of curiosity to see if this is being done everywhere.Last edited by Tim0331; 06-08-2016, 05:14 PM.Gone - '13 Abarth

Tim, that was most likely a press car cause no dealers will be seeing the Abarth till later this year (sadly).- Top

I just talked to one of the salesmen at our local dealer and they are expecting 8 in the first allocation and 9 in the second allocation. He told me that he realistically expects the first round of cars the 3rd week of July. All will be automatics, both allocations.
I was shocked that the price on the entry level model is $24,995!2014 Abarth, Rosso/Nero, basically stock w/a few trinkets.- Top

Called and it's now Tonkin Fiat on this side of the river, too! The salesman will call me back and I'll post what I find out.

Salesman never called back; looks like it's a real Tonkin dealership...Last edited by morrisg; 06-14-2016, 03:50 PM.- Top
