Found this online and got to say it definitely sounds nice and familiar to the good ol' A500.gr_grin

Ah, sounds more like the Abarth 500! Good! No aftermarket exhaust needed with the Abarth 124 Spider for Europe.

Just saw the full clip on the other thread, and yes, this is the European full Abarth tune. Well, maybe that means we can get that sound with a simple muffler change on the normal 124 Spider for the USA.

Motor trend did an article sharing this clip as well. They recently updated their article after getting a response from Fiat USA. According to Fiat, the Elaborazione Abarth will not have the same exhaust as the euro Abarth 124 spider shown in that clip. :/
It will still be quad pipes and more aggressive than 124, but not the Record Monza of euro Abarth 124.

The NA version of this car not having the same exhaust as the EU Abarth, and the same horsepower as the base model, just leads me to believe that there will be a more hard core version for our market not far down the road.

On an earlier thread discussion on the 124 Abarth we were talking about the red circular thing in the grille, just wanted to share that I'd finally read that it's covering up where the tow hook will go.
