What type of vehicle did you 500X owners have before you made the swap and why? I had a Scion xB and I loved it but I really wanted AWD in a small SUV platform.

2008 Mazdaspeed3

I've always had a hot hatch of one form or another and wanted my next vehicle to have AWD. Still 4 doors with a hatch the X seems familiar in its layout. This is my first mini suv and I'm just glad its fun to drive.

Getting my X Easy next week after driving an Abarth for 3-1/2 years. I needed the extra space and the ability to transport my dogs in the back. I also decided I would like to have a vehicle with AWD and I just love the way the X looks.

I had a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Eco. It was a nice car but the sedan form wasn't as user friendly for my job as a hatch and the dual clutch transmission annoyed me to no end with its inconsistent shift quality and refusal to engage 1st gear unless you were stopped for more then 5 seconds. There is no substitute for a human engaging a clutch so I wanted to go back to a manual tranny. I also wanted a higher ride height for ease of entry and exit since I'm in and out of the car about 20-25 times a night so small SUVs were of interest to me. That requirement limited me to the X, CX5, and HRV. Ultimately the X had the right combo of style, fun to drive, and good deals.

2013 Abarth, white. Great car, put about 30,000 miles on it. Decided I needed a bigger car after my divorce (when married, I could always use her car if I needed to move things or people). Also wanted AWD and the glass roof. They didn't have a car in stock with both AWD and the glass roof, so I had make a choice between one or the other. Chose AWD. Good thing, too: I'm moving to the Rocky Mountains next month.

I had a 2005 4WD Rav4 L and a Stella which I loved dearly. Meatball is the most fun though.

Hello all! I just joined this forum and am kind of a lurker - I drive a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X...and love the idea of the 500X. Living in Anchorage, there are currently no Fiat dealers. So I will lurk until something develops. In the meantime, enjoy your Fiats!

Welcome to the forum and good luck with finding your 500X!

Chevy Sonic Hatch 1.4T, 6MT

Wasn't thrilled with the 6MT, by far the worst manual I've driven. The wife wanted AWD and had wanted a FIAT for awhile, 500X was an easy choice.

2003 VW Passat Wagon purchased new, our 500x Lounge is our first new car since the VW, a lot of used stuff in between.

2014 Kia Soul. Not a bad car, but the Fiat is better looking and certainly more sporty. Plus, a lot less of them around.

I had a 2012 Fiat Sport. One good thing is I got a great loyalty discount at the dealer. Fully loaded X Trekking Plus out the door for 25k. Got the Beats, sunroof, all.

I'm currently driving a 2013 Mazda 3... I'm getting my 500X hopefully in a few weeks and I'm super excited! What convinced me I was ready for a change was continuously getting stuck in the snow (I'm in Canada) and I wanted the AWD just to give me some more confidence in the winter.
