Well it's mostly planned. Here's the information and Saturday's tentative route. Checking on one last thing.
This is the 1st and hopefully will turn into an annual event. I have 20 rooms reserved for this event. 13 1/2 Cozy Queen rooms at 72/night, 4 Double Queen rooms (which would work for a family) 94/night, and 3 King rooms at 100/night. This is the discounted rate. Reservations for rooms can be made at http://1929hotelseville.com/ , but you should call The Seville at 1-870-741-2321 and mention Fiats on Push Mountain for the rate.
Friday will be a do your own thing day, with a meet and greet dinner athttp://www.devitosrestaurant.com/ . I have the party room booked. Saturday will be the drive with stops here and there to take in the sites, Wolfe House is one....which is the oldest log cabin house in Arkansas, and Blanchard Springs Cavern on the southern end of Push Mountain where I'm working on a "brown bag" lunch from the hotel to have there. Details to come on that part.
Dinner Saturday will be at the hotel (if you so choose), and departure on Sunday morning.
I'm still working out some of the other details, but this is basically it. Attendees will receive a welcome bag with some goodies in it. Hagerty Insurance has donated the bags along with other items already, and I'll announce others as I hear back from them or receive things. Arkansas Tourism Department is sending some brochures as well as some other things for the bags also.
We're also coming up with an event sticker which we'll post once we get that set.
This is my first time creating something like this, so bear with as I learn what works and what doesn't If it wasn't for the folks that host Fiats on the Dragon, I think this would of been a lot harder than it was to plan. Since they "paved the way" in how to host an event, it made it a lot easier on me. Thank you -Ian

Here's a link to the Hotel http://1929hotelseville.com/ . Just call them (The Seville at 1-870-741-2321) to book your room. No real sign up. Once the rooms are gone, it's full. Only have 20 rooms blocked for the event to see how this goes. When you call just tell them you're with Fiats on Push Mountain. You can also check our Face Book page for the event, or even the event page. I got the route finalized, and saturday's lunch pretty much worked out with the Hotel's restaurant manager. Rooms are booked from Thursday April 21st 2016-Saturday April 23rd. Friday is an explore the area on your own day, with a meet and greet dinner at 6pm, and we'll drive Push Mountain on saturday. Hope to see you there.

Got a package from the local tourism board in Arkansas to share with everyone. Also, heard from 500 Madness and they're putting something together for us. The event it self is free, people just have to pay for their own expenses, so any donations for everyone attending is greatly appreciated.

Great work putting this together! This was something that was brought up often at the FIAT Freakout in Pittsburgh this year. Get together with the FIAT people in your region and put the together an event! The Freakout is a once a year thing and it is a blast but not convenient for everyone to attend. FIAT on the Dragon and other events like it are great but not everyone can make it to this event or that event. But if there are more events all over the country, it becomes easier to get to at least one. These cars are awesome but the people that choose to drive them are what sets FIAT apart from other makes. Get out and meet some of them!

The event dates are Thursday April 21st (arrival) through Sunday April 24th, 2016. Sounds like we're going to put together a raffle also. If any vendors wish to donate to it, feel free to contact me. Thanks.

Thanks, and it hasn't been that bad to put together. What helps is seeing what the hosts do for Fiats on the Dragon, and use that as we build the framework for this...so they deserve a huge amount of credit for this also. In the future I would like to do a couple of other things they did too. But for right now our club is just getting our feet wet, and use this as a learning experience. The staff at the hotel have been great to work with, and the local tourism board had some great ideas also. Sounds like they're just as excited about us coming as we are. Hopefully this will go well and turn into an annual event. We would like to fill the hotel in 2017. Think the hardest part is planning the route via google maps, and not being able to actually scout it out since we're so far away. Other that that it's been fun planning this. We're all excited, and can't wait to do it now.

Here's the finalized route, and Itinerary. We'll be providing a hard copy in the welcome bags.
Thursday April 21st-check in at the Hotel Seville in Harrison. At this time you pay for your "boxed lunch" for Saturday's run also.
Friday April 22nd-Do your own thing day...chill day. Also in the welcome bag will be brochures on local driving routes, a guided walking tour of historic Harrison it self, and one for local attractions. This will also give those that can't make it until Friday a chance to check in. At 6pm we'll be meeting at http://www.devitosrestaurant.com/directions.aspx for our meet and greet dinner and will also be holding a raffle.
Saturday April 23rd- Line up outside hotel between 7:30-8. We'll get our lunches, go over any sudden route change information, etc, at this time. Head out at 8:30. We'll arrive at The Wolf House ( https://www.baxtercounty.org/wolfhouse.php ) by 10 am (use the address 13386 Arkansas 5, Norfork as a landmark). Depart by 10:30 or so for Push Mountain. We'll stop at a couple scenic overlooks, and Hacker's Country Store along the way. Arrive at Blanchard Springs Caverns http://www.blanchardsprings.org/) by noon for lunch. Well spend a couple hours here so people can explore the trails, there's a guided tour of the caverns that takes an hour, or just relax) Head out about 2pm. From there we'll head to Mountain View to drive across the swinging bridge then start making our way back to Harrison. Around 3 or so arrive in Big Flat (use Katie's grocery Store-8505 Arkansas 14, Big Flat as a landmark), for a short rest stop. Head out 3:15-3:30. Arrive at Tyler Bend Visitor Center around 4 or so. ( http://www.recreation.gov/…/tyler-b…/r/campgroundDetails.do… ). We'll spend an hour here roughly to enjoy the scenery and I believe there's an old settlers display to visit. Head out for the hotel at 5pm. Dinner at the hotel, or if you choose at another location, or just hang out together.
Sunday April 24th-check out.
We may have to tweak this here and there, but this should be basically it. A relaxing weekend to take in some sights and scenery, and drive some challenging roads. See you all there. Feel free to ask any questions if you have any, and we'll do our best to answer them. -Ian

A couple of further updates. First, since we're a chapter of Fiat Club of America, any non members of Fiat Club America, there is a required day membership form and fee of $5. This will be required for Saturday's event only as it's the driving event. All Fiat Club America members in good standing are already covered and will not need day memberships. Please just plan to bring proof of membership to the event.
Beginning January 15th, 2016 there will be a registration form available on our website, and at that time you will be able to register for the event, sign up for your day membership passes/fees or join the Fiat Club America national and reap the benefits of all they offer through out the year for it's members. Once registered, you will simply print the registration information and fee receipt and bring it with you to the event.
Also, a change in Saturday's plans, after the run we'll be having dinner together at Western Sizzlin Steakhouse at 905 US-62 in Harrison. Stay tune for further updates.
