Nice 500X, I'm looking into buying one soon. The bolt pattern is 5x110, in case you were wondering.

With the space saver spare, are you still able to use the bi-level cargo floor adjustment?

I'm close to 1000 miles, and I really enjoy driving it--it's quick for sure. I got it with the Collection 4 package.

Yes, the adjustable floor just goes over it right in the upper position with no issues. The tire measures 145/90-16, so it's narrower to make it nicely fit with still more room to spare (no pun intended). The thought of having a flat, at night, on a highway, in the snow or rain with just an inflator/sealant kit wasn't sitting well with me. I also read of possible damage to the TPMS by the sealant.

I'm right with you on wanting a spare and I knew going into the purchase one was not offered on the U.S. version but was on the Canadian version. I'm more puzzles than disappointed in that neither the Mini or Soul offered a spare (not even a space for it in the Countryman and those pricy runflats run flat a lot in NYC winter) but the HR-V came with a spare. Regardless, it's $250 for safety and convenience.

I'm probably misreading you and I apologize, but will the floor partition fit in the lower level position or just in the upper position? It's a thing I have for my flight bags to fit upright so I can more easily take crew around.

By the way, super sharp X!

With the spare installed, the adjustable floor will no longer fit in its original lower position; though, if you take out the inflator/sealant kit, the floor can be made to sit right on top of the spare if you need the extra room the upper position takes. Yeah it's $250, not only for safety and convenience, but also for peace of mind . . .

I curbed my rear d/s wheel recently while, of all things, exiting a parking garage. I felt so bad (and dumb) I wanted to get it fixed right away. Fortunately, I found a good shop albeit 30 miles away. It was a bit of a costly repair but I think, at this 3-month point, worth it. A good thing about expensive lessons is you likely learn from them; I know I have from this :peaceful:

Mine came with the all weather package, which includes those, and mud flaps. Around here, during the winter, they are quite handy.

Got this from CravenSpeed last week at $20 off; so the total with shipping came to $25--that's the only reason I got it; otherwise I was okay with the factory stock. Anyway, this is half the original length; it's well-made; and I like how the name lines up nicely after screwing it in tight; plus it does have a better-looking profile. My preset SiriusXM and AM/FM stations work just as before, so no issue there with this new antenna.

Greetings.
Hey, I'm all over that Xpel stuff but I don't see it listed specific for the "X". Did you just use the generic sheet? I can see myself cutting that all wrong and tossing the scissors into the neighbors yard. Hints?

Thanks,

I ordered last year through here - - > http://www.xpel.com/headlight-protection-kits/Passenger_Cars_and_Light_Trucks/2016/Fiat/500x/Trekking/ ;
Weathertech offers a similar one, but I'm not sure of the coverage details - - > http://www.weathertech.com/fiat/2016/500x/lampgard/ .

I feel for you dude! It happened to me on the first day I took delivery of my vehicle! How much it cost to fix that? What should I search for to fix this? I hope there is at least one in Chicago or even Illinois. :)

i like the stubby. i believe the stubby is for AM/FM only. i think the satellite radio antenna is tucked away somewhere else.

I paid $125 for it. I took it to a wheel repair shop, and that's all they do--anything and everything concerning wheels (http://crimsonwheelrepairnj.com/about-us/). I used Yelp to search. There were a few others near me, but this shop rated the highest; and I was glad I went to them. Good luck with yours.

On the subject of floor mats, I found a set of Aries mats. Never heard of them before but they are fabulous in fit and finish. I will leave them in for the rust belt winter and yank them in the summer...but really, they're nice enough looking to go year round. One thing I really respect is the they cover the foot rest on the left. They were around $76 for the front set. Compared to anything else, that was a bargain. I got them through CarID. Here's the link; https://www.carid.com/2016-fiat-500-floor-mats/aries-styleguard-floor-liners-205172670.html.

Love the job those dudes did on your wheel. I could use a place like that. The Missus can get a little ruthless with aluminum wheels. Thanks for the tip on the Xpel stuff.
Also, did the exhaust work you did effect MPG? Really the only thing that irks me is my mileage, everything else is tremendous.

Same here for the mileage. lol. I noticed you get better mileage if you go easier on the gas pedal, and that means less spirited driving and a lil' racing stop signs. However, it's not easy because our cars just perform so good, quick, and tempting. :D

Did you have to use any glass/plastic cleaner to prep the headlights/fog lamps/signal housing before applying the protection film?

It's a mixture of alcohol and water, I forget the ratio; but it comes with the instructions.
