Here's a good how to link on it all: http://www.fiat500usa.com/2012/10/fiat-500-abarth-carbon-fiber-dash.html Personally I just bought a couple feet of 3M DiNoc Carbon Fiber Vinyl and wrapped the dash instead of spending a ton on a new one. It turned out great and most people actually have to ask me about it. A good alternative if you're poor like me and can't justify that kind of money on a new dashboard.

Another alternative is getting it hydro dipped. You can get any design you want, wood grain, CF, custom pictures...

I'm interested to see how the mirror caps stand up to rock chips.
Definitely cheaper than carbon fiber and looks pretty damn identical!

Cost depends on size of part and complexity of surface....

For reference...
pair of mirror caps: $90
Rear hatch handle $90
Front whiskers $75

Process:
Buff and smooth surface
Spray base color (red, black, gold...whatever you want)
Dip part in activated film of paint pattern (CF, Kryptek, camo....whatever you want that's in the hydrodip pattern catalog)
Spray with clear coat (glossy, matte....with clear clear coat or can drop drop or two of black for smoked tint clear coat)
Buff and polish clear coat.

Durability:
Because clear coat finish is exactly the same kind of clear coat on your hood, bumper, and the rest of your car, durability to rock chips is exactly the same as the rest of the car. :)
Actually, resistance to rock chipping could be stronger than the rest of your car if your Hydrodipper sprays an extra coat or two of clear coat.

Comparison:
Pair of OEM primed mirror caps from moparonlineparts.com... Around $50 shipped
Silver weave CF hydrodipping.....$90
Perfect OEM fitment ~$140 for CF mirror caps (vs. $699 for real CF caps that may have gaps on fitment, may eventually yellow and may have CF weave stretching and poor flow)

:)

Those CF look mirror caps are sitting here still waiting to go on the Abarth Ron. :D Yeah they've made it around to a few people and ended here and haven' yet been installed once...lol.
