Nico Rosberg finally puts his Mercedes on pole and then wins the race easily. Hamilton was 2nd in qualifying, had a bad start in the race, and had to chase Vettel for most of the race until his switch to one more tire stop paid off and he finished 2nd for another Mercedes 1-2. Vettel hangs in 3rd for another podium finish, while Williams driver Bottas manages to keep ahead of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen for 4-5. Other than that, a bad day for McLaren with Alonso out due to brake problems, and Button was near the back of the pack only ahead of the Manor cars and Maldonado (wing damage).

Two weeks to go until Monaco on May 24th, so we'll see if Rosberg can repeat his win there from last year and keep the race interesting for the championship. Otherwise, Monaco has great tradition and fabulous scenery, but due to being such a tight street course ends up being a parade for the most part, so qualifying will be critical.

Race was boring but was to be expected from this circuit. Bernie should drop it from the calendar. Pick up Jerez or something for next year...
