i have had my car for one week officially today.

Its been hard waiting this long, but i already have the mod itch.

I am looking for a wide wheel in the 8 to 9 inch width. I am also looking for some serious poke. I am thinking a 15 offset.

I would like to stretch the stock tires onto these rims.

Has anyone done a similar setup?

Will this setup work with the madness aggresive 2" drop springs?

Look forward to answers good and bad.

I will never understand the appeal of stretched tires... But anyways, Road Race has some rims that are 168. Dont think I've seen anything wider than that yet

You will have rubbing issues so you will need to pull/roll fenders, or better yet, cut/add fender flares and you can go as wide as you like. Contact RRM for expertise in this area.

This isn't exactly what your looking for but I am running 17x8.25 by XXR (4x100 with wobble bolts) Stock sized tire with some stretch. 1.4" F/ springs and 2.0" R/ springs from Madness. No rubbing. Ive thought of going lower, but at this point I can still run back roads hard. Which I like only slightly better than looking cool. 2.0/2.5" drop from Madness might work?

This is my old setup. 16x9 15 offset with stock pirelli 195s stretched. I had the madness 2.5 rear springs cut about 3 coils
Rubbed on big dips even with pulled fenders

dailygrindin, that looks awesome! I guess I can go with the 2.5" drop springs then if you only rubbed when cut and wider rims! Thanks!

I like that look. I had stretched tires on my m3 before it was popular. 19x12s in the rear 19x10 up front.

Since then i have been doing the "MEATY" tire look. I want to change it up a bit as this will be my daily driver for a while.

I am planning on using the aggresive 1 from madness as my kids like to ride in the rear.

I dont want to go extreme as i am notorious for that. My last three or four cars i waaaaay overdid it.
