I know it's a little early to start shopping for winter tires but I've always been a premature prepper kind of guy.

Anyways, 2013 Abarth, and it'll be driven through everything when 2015-16 winter comes around. I searched around but doesn't look like anyone has tried 175/65/15 which is about 2% taller than stock. My car is stock and will stay stock (famous last words). I like running skinny tires for winters, always have. My question, does anyone think I am going to run into rubbing issues? I keep reading people rubbing but I can't tell it is from the height of the tire, width, width of wheel, etc etc. I see people mention 205/50/16 tires (also 2% taller than factory) but can't tell if it's a good or bad thing.

Looks like the Monza 15x6.5 is one of very few choices I have for wheels that fit without any modification or running variation bolts. I plan to use those.

Thoughts? Thanks.

That's what I thought after I picked up mine last fall, but the Monza is not your only option. Tire Rack wouldn't, and still won't, guarantee a good fit but I went with 15x6.5 Ciao Vernazza and 185/60-15 Pirelli winter tires after seeing another picture of an Abarth with the same setup. They're quite close on the rear suspension and front brakes but performed perfectly. Granted it was an easy winter.
