Hi,

I am new into this forum and hope get some information for wheels upgrade. I own a 500e and looking to buy wheels with same size as my stock 15". I search many shops but no luck for long time. Finally today, I found out one of the shop near my area have Rota Wheels Grid 15x7 (4x98 + 35mm 58.1 Hub Bore) available and just release to the market. They mention this will be perfectly fit my car. Any suggestions? Please advise........

Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I can't suggest much for the wheels on a 500e but we have some members that will chime in eventually. :)

Those look great, any idea on the weight? What shop has these in stock?

Super light weight 12.12 Lbs each wheel and that's why I like. That shop locate in Hayward CA and shop name call Racinglab.com
Also, they have 3 different color choice. White, Flat black or Full Royal Sport Bronze. I like white myself for my car. But any more suggestion?

Thanks! Yes, I've been to their website a few times in my research. I'm thinking about picking up a set of these in bronze since nobody has the Rota Slipstreams in the size/color/offset I want.

beargo, I'm in Ventura county. Just curious can you post the other specs on the wheels? They look like 15s, are they? Are they 4x98 pcd? or 4x100. I like the 6 spoke look because it reminds me of my fave wheel of all time Volk TE37s. I would love a set @ 16 x 7.5 4x98 pcd.

thanks

The one I purchase is Rota Grid 15x7 (4x98 + 35mm) with 58.1 Hub Bore. According to Racinglab and this is exclusive wheel design for Fiat. When I test fit and like plug an play. Only thing I need to remove my 2 rotor hub bolt (Original from my Fiat).
Also, they told me also have 17x8 (4x98 + 35mm) with 58.1 Hub Bore available. But I prefer 15" because I will re-use my original 15" tires for new wheels.

oh really??? I thought Bronze not matching my body color. That's why I Pick White. Also, the shop only have 1 set Bronze in stock but I didn't take that. lol.....

Wow 17x8s??? Even better. I didn't even go there because I thought they were just running smaller sizes. Only problem may be the weight on that big a wheel. I'll need to check them out. Thanks.

Yeah...17x8 size is 19.2 Lbs. Because I have electric car and not sure if affect my mileage. But when I test fit 17x8 and I like it as well because more aggressive look.

Just found them on their website. http://www.racinglab.com/rota-grid-fiat-17x8-001.html Sweet. Actually 19.2 lbs isn't that bad. The stock forged wheels for the Abarth are 17 lbs.

Too bad they only have bronze. Bronze on bianca is nice, but on grigio is just OK IMO, but I guess you can always get them powdered.

I have to vouch for Madness on the wheel option. I know they have dealt with more 500e than anyone and they do have a really good wheel selection. I would check them out for possible options for your 500e. I think they offer a wheel trade credit as well which might help offset the cost. So far, your wheel choices look good.

Indeed, the swap or credit options make them a nice choice.

how much credit for a set of stock 500e wheels and tires and TPMS

Hey Johnny,

Thanks for the question. If you would like to forward me your email I can get you in touch directly with someone who can work with you on trading in your wheels. I am sorry I can't answer directly but I do not have all the answers even though I would like to.

I'll of course monitor the thread too and if I can get an answer in the meantime I will get back to you.

Thank you!

I want these wheels on my Orange 500E but they're not cheap new and hard to find used! :( Looks amazeballs!

Do you lose any functionality with aftermarket wheels? TPMS included? any other side effects I should be aware of?
I'm actually thinking of maybe using some 16" abarth factory wheels... seems like it should be a non-issue, but if anyone has advice...
the factory e wheels are the least attractive of them all :(

I am looking at these for my 500e: http://www.ebay.com/itm/282141661041?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (http://www.ebay.com/itm/282141661041?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)
The offset is different though. The stock wheels are +35; these are +15. On there little fitment tolol there, it says they wil nto work on a 500e. Now that may just mean someone didn't punch it in, but it does raise a red flag to verify. Has anyone used these, or know if the 20mm offest difference is a big deal? It has to drive right of course, but I also don't want wheels hanging out side of the fenders!
Thanks
