I have a cracked windshield and am having it repaired under my insurance coverage. So the local windshield repair company informed me due to this car being a first year, the replacement would have to be order from the dealer. No problem, so I recommend the studio I got the car from.

Now it has been over three months since the process of repairing my car started and I have lost all respect for this FIAT dealership. A safety item should never take this long especially being that FIAT has put an all stop in the shipment of any new 500L due to safety problems. One would think they could send out one of those windshields awaiting installation in a new car on hold.

The windshield repair company called today checking on status and FIAT still canít provide a delivery date. The crack in my windshield is now almost all the way across the glass and starting to pull apart from the center layers of safety laminate

Hope every other FIAT owner has better luck with their replacement parts.

AUG 27 - NOV 17 still no EDD on the new windshield !!!!
