Driving at 70 mph I am getting 3.6 miles/kWh. Average so far is 3.0 miles/kWh.
I've started resetting my trip A each time I charge to see how the Hwy vs City range compare. Using trip B to get the lifetime average.

Be interesting to see how everyone else is doing.

I don't try to drive conservatively, 3.2 on a total of 864 miles.

I wonder if you can reach 70 mph with those strong Coachella Valley head winds? I also wonder about the usefulness of miles/kWh since the number you get depends on many factors such as speed, wind, terrain, tire pressure, air temperature, etc. One thing is for certain: driving at 70 mph reduces your miles/kwh.

Agreed.. hills are probably the worst, unless your destination elevation diff is minimal

I had no problem getting up to 70 mph heading west but not too much wind that day. I haven't tried the top end speed yet.

Based on a 24kWh battery the miles/kWh gives a real world travel distance. ( i.e. 24kWh * 4 mile/kWh = 86 miles ).. hopefully.

-------------------------------------------
Just had a grinding noise on both my front brakes fixed by FIAT and my miles/kWh appears to have gone up. ( as one might expect )
Bad thing is I didn't hear the grind noise until my wife moved the car while I was standing outside beside the car. (didn't notice it even with the window down.)

4.1mi/kwh I was driving conservatively the first month, but last month just driving less conservatively.

If you think that 70mph reduces your range, try 88 ha ha! Yep, stops right at 88...

3.8 mi/kWh (total distance 657 miles), typically driving 70-75MPH when on the freeway. I have a 1000 foot climb on the way home every day, which over a 2 mile distance zaps 8-10% of my battery! I gain some back (2-3%) when going downhill but not a whole lot.

11,214mi - 3.8mi/kWH average over lifetime.

70 miles commute each way, hilly freeway (SF Bay Area), with me trying to keep at 80mph when traffic is flowing - I get home with 5-24% left, depending on temperature and traffic flow (better when hitting some freeway stop-and-go)

1075 miles- 3.98 mi/kWH, 40 mile freeway commute mostly flat.

Ah, yes 96 miles sillylol

Today my battery showed 101 miles after "filling up" at a ChargePoint station.

Interestingly, we drove to Cabazon from Palm Springs ( 28 miles ) and the battery only showed 42 miles ( of 96 ) remaining.
The wind was blowing from the east so it should have been helping us.
On the way back (against the wind) , according to the range remaining, we used NO energy. Arrived back home with 43 miles. ( a gain of 1 mile )
It's about a 1,830 ft at Cabazon vs 480 ft at Palm Springs but the range estimating software seems a little off.
I reset my A trip and now have 4.4 miles / kWh over the last 250 miles vs 3.6 life time.
