I am wondering it there are anyone else out there who is adjusting the camber to help with tire wear?

My commute is a 20 mile each way over curvy mountain roads, each way. The factory tires lasted 8000 miles, till bald! I replaced the factory tires with a 50,000 mile tire, and had my alignment checked. The drivers side was -1.5 and the passenger side was -1.8, so I had the passenger side brought to -1.5 to have both sides match. I rotated the tires at the 4000 mile mark, and I was about half life.

After the rotation, I hit a road hazard, which knocked my front alignment all out of wack and this time I had the shop adjust camber to -1.2. My tire wear is looking much better now, time will tell how tire wear will be.

Does any one else have any experience with helping tire life?

That amount of camber won't kill tires that quickly, toe is all f'ed up on the cars though. Get a set of plate that Fiat sells to correct toe - and install and realign it.
