Anyone here ever put on the vogtland springs or give me some insight on these springs I bought?
I finally opened the box but the fronts look monsterously huge...

here is a picture with a gallon water jug next to them as for size comparison.. to big for the little Fiat?

did you double check the product number off the springs with those that sell these?

on the box it says:

Sport Lowering Springs (logo)Vogtland
VA 954091 / HA 954026
25/30 mm
ARTIKEL-NR / ORDER NO
954026
Fiat 500 Typ 312, USA Version

part number on the springs matches tag and their online us catalog.. just seems huge.. oh well.. I guess I'll have to find out when I install them sometime this week.

The springs are the right size - you have the wrong car.

And what is that supposed to mean? Please clarify, seeking honest answers not empty riddles or sarcastic jabs.

It was a joke. Sheesh, lighten up.

And what is that supposed to mean? Some pathetic stab at me owning a 500T posting in the Abarth section? F*ck off, I'm looking for honest help from others that might have got these, not douche bag elisist comments from guys who own a car that cost under 30k and pretends it's a Ferrari. Simply grow up, people like you are turning away others from this forum with your elitist attitude.

There appears to be enough room for a water jug and then some in the strut tower. The ends look like they'd fit the perch, don't they? Turn the wheel, reach in there, take some measurements. Seems to me their larger diameter is an integral part of how they achieve what they are designed to achieve.

VOGTLAND offers different versions for the Fiat 500:

Item# 954050 for the 1.2l.
Item# 954051 for the 1.4l and the Diesel model.
Item# 954022 fits the Abarth 500
Item# 954026 is specifically designed for the US-market.

The numbers you posted look right... 954026

I took his comment as you have the wrong car. As in, they sent you wrong springs for your car and theyre meant for another car. I doubt he was saying because you have a T.

Trevor was only making a joke, not it was a T or an Abarth just wrong car altogether...sarcasm doesn't always translate well sadly.

Sorry for the over reaction...
Reason for this, I purchased the springs from a little known performance shop which offered a lower price than some of the more reputable ones we know here.
Thus I saw the size of the springs and was pretty shocked as I didn't think they would be that large on such a small car.
So I was a bit tender on the subject as I did not want to have to go through the long process of trying to get a replacement with this shop which could very well be some guy's garage.
I've heard horror stories such as this..

A friend of mine was trying to sell me his vogtlands and I ended up with Sportlines. Comparing the two they looked similar just different color. So then comparing the Sportline to the stock ones there were a difference. Here's the stock vs Sportlines:

Appreciate the pic. I checked on the stock springs while I was working on my car last weekend, so they are pretty big. Are you happy with the Sportlines?

I am. Part of me wanted to get NeuFs just because the rear bar was NeuF but since the shocks are Koni I go over having everything the same color. I love that it's low but not too low. When I had the Pro kit on my Sport they helped but didnt give the car that lowered look which I kinda wanted.
