Hello all,

I am still new here but knocked out my first mod on the 500 today,

I like the look of the Cattiva package my sport has but the side marker lights really stood out. So I took them off and smoked them today with some VHT spray. They look pretty dark but the turn signals still shine thru very good

I think they turned out pretty good and it really helps complete the whole Cattiva blacked out look, next up is window tint and a lowering kit from 500 madness.

Good call, matches nicely with the rest of the car. Enjoy the forum!

I've always liked that color car and the consistent blacked out look is nice... maybe I will try that on Dot since those are the only non-tinted lights left ... easy to pop those side indicators out?

Some instructions or a little video would be awesome. Looks great

Thanks for the comments. I didn't take a video while doing the mod but I do have some pictures and I will do a little write-up on how to perform this mod.

I will say getting to the back of the side-marker lights is very easy, and painting them with the VHT spray is also easy. The very tricky and frustrating part was actually removing the lights from the fender, the clips that hold them on are very stiff.
