10721The badge is held on with double sided tape and two plastic locator pins, these look pretty fragile. These fit into the grommets shown.
I used a plastic bondo applicator to work all the way around the edges pulling outwards until I heard the tape start to peel, then slowly lifted it off.
Not sure if this has been shown before, but it might help someone out.

Curious why you did this and thankful you shared the pics.

I have an enquiring mind....
Plus I may be getting all the chrome, painted/wrapped and seeing how it all comes apart.

might be a dumb question, but what kind of tape do you use to stick it back on?

3M double sided would work on that provided you prep the area right... re: well cleaned and then wipe the area with isopropyl before applying the tape.

Interesting. Thanks. Now, I know this is heresy, but I actually like the FIAT logo on the rear hatch better than the Abarth logo. FIAT has a simplicity that apeals to me. Not saying I would change it out on my Abarth...but...
