The key cover is great! Wondering about those door panels. I think they'd look nice in my regular 500, as it has the brown/ivory interior too. It would lighten things up inside a bit more, which I'd like.

Oh, I can hardly wait to see how the other two colors look with the interior.

Nice! I wish it would've come with the new 7" display like in the new Cult. Also Blue&Me needs to be updated. Wireless music streaming? Can't wait to see the verde chiaro & bianco versions. The wheels, seats, arm rests, shift boot, even the key fobs are gorgeous. Love the car!

P.S. The video about the 1957 Nuova 500 was icing on the cake. Thank God I know Italian. Thanks for the dessert Chris. Yummy!

Ciao,
John

Very exciting to see this come out. Very cool. I am curious on the Bianco as it will probably look very clean and retro.

There are so many different varieties of 500s I wouldn't mind having a few. One every day of the week would be cool!

There is a FIAT 500 Cult in Argentina, as well. However, that version is basically the North American version, except for the engine, which is a 1.4L, 2 valves/cylinder instead of 4, and makes 85 hp. Ours is also better equipped.

One of my favorite Italian artists is Mina. Back in 1960 she recorded "Celeste", the b-side of "Na sera e maggio". Thinking of the FIAT 500 1957 Edition in Celeste made me think of this song, which is bluesy and so pretty, like the car.

As long as they don't come up with a slogan similar to "The Fit is Go". Nobody knows what that means. Absolutely none of us on the Honda forum could figure it out.

Here's an Italian commercial for the 1957 FIAT 500 I found on YouTube. Very nice, especially if you know Italian!

The Fit one still makes no sense. I don't speak Italian, but I sure do love that little car.

I remember when the first generation Fit was sold here, I had to check it out and horror of horrors, I couldn't fit in it!. I'm 5'10", about 190 lbs., but I have long legs. Not enough leg room. So it was a no Fit for me.

The Italian commercial for the 1957 FIAT 500 mentioned it was affordable, practical, roomy for four people, easy to park, good handling & braking and very economical. it also had the latest technologies as well.

How many engines does Fiat make? And how many versions are there of specific engines? Like in the link it says there's a slightly different output for the MultiAir used in the Sport and Lounge.

I also get confused over colors, some places colors cost extra, or are super premium. Like with Rame or Pearl white, those seemed like the most complex paint schemes, and that's one reason I avoided them. I figured that regular gloss paint would be "easiest" to replicate, if repainting a part of the car ever became necessary. I don't know ANYTHING about paint or painting cars though, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

In some places those two colors are extra cost and others they aren't. But if they're all coming from the same factory, what's the deal with that?

And there have been transmission updates, too. I'd read somewhere on your black pages that the Lounge initially only came with the automatic. Great if that's what you want, not so great if that isn't what you want. It's kind of hard to keep up with all the changes and variations in one place, let alone all the areas in the world!
