Just wondering if anybody has installed window visors on their 500e. The 500madness site has some different visors for the other models, I'm wondering which ones would be compatible with the 500e.

If you find something decent, please pass on the info. The stock visors are my least favorite thing on the 500e.

The visors are truly useless. I also would like to hear from anyone who has an add on visor that actually does the job of blocking the sun. Also, my AM radio reception is awful. Any ideas on solving this issue.

Visor works ok. But i am 6'1" and my head nearly touches the headliner because of the moonroof.

I think hes talking about wind deflectors that goes on the outside of the front windows, not the little sun visors..

Yeah sorry the correct title should be side window air deflectors. And it does look like it is compatible with all Fiat models according to.the Mopar website here:http://www.mopar.com/part/82212405

I actually ordered mine at.the madness500 store in Signal Hill, and turns out its on backorder. John said.he would let me know.when its shipped. This was beginning of March.

Fiatgojo....I was truly referring to the sun visors inside the car. They are way too small and really don't provide much sun blocking. So, anyone who knows of some sort of after market "visor" then please post it.

I did a Google image search, this will take you to the main page, and then click on "Images":
https://www.google.com/search?q=sun+visor+extensions

There are a bunch of things in there, some of which look like absolute crap. LOL

And it will depend on where you have the most problem with the sun. Do you need extra protection on the side windows? Below the current visor? Or across that open spot where the center rear view mirror is located?

Is it something you'll need just about every single day? Or something once in a while?

Even the easiest product to use could be perfect, depending on what you need.

Super simple, looks to be fabric/elastic, perhaps with velcro closure to go around visor, with opaque plastic sheets:
http://www.visormates.com/

Pic in this blog of extensions shown in a Nissan Leaf for that area around the rear view mirror, these are factory:
http://drivingelectric.blogspot.com/2013/08/and-into-black.html

Another strap style, in white (if you have the Steam interior, white would work well) on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sun-Visor-Extenders-for-Side-Windows-Fits-Jeep-Patriot-and-other-vehicles-/131156577135

Since I haven't seen on for the Fiat specifically, and we do have the Avorio and Steam interiors, would love to see one of the vendors here come up with something.

If you're on an extended drive, being able to block off that center area is invaluable.

And, don't forget a good pair of sunglasses. I'm not putting on one of those tinted flip downs in my car when sunglasses will do the job and are safer. On the other hand, if you're getting blasted from the side as the sun rises/sets, that flap could be useful.

Figure out where you have the problem(s) and what needs to be covered to ease the problem.

The vent visors that fiatgojo suggested would probably be the best bet. The internal visors are absolutely useless.

Having my head up near the ceiling of our sunroofless car, I find the teeny little sunvisors work GREAT for sun that's straight on. They're fine. Now, flip them to the side window and it becomes a silly joke. They wouldn't/couldn't do anything for anyone of any size and height.

So, I just pull my hoodie foward, put in my earbuds and ignore all input from outside the car. Yes, in Los Angeles it would be legal and appropriate to machine gun drivers like me, but whatcha gonna do?

They have been backordered for awhile. I know they just got them in on the 2nd or 3rd of this month! I picked them up as soon as they came in and just installed them today!

Any feedback on these solutions? Has anyone used the cheap Hot Fiat ones?

The Visormate is perfect for my 500e. Even came in black. Send Mitch and email and he will hook you up.

So does it come with 2 black "rubber bands"? (just wondering how it really looks, and if the bands match the visor color)
