View Full Version : PICS... Another NORCALFIED ABARTH

Been busting these cars out over the past few weeks and here is another members car I finished today. Dropped it off last night and I tore into it.

I set him up with
KW COILOVERS V1 Custom color
Neuspeed Rear Bar custom color
Neuspeed Short Shifter
Madness Wheel spacers (brought to me nice piece also)

I started with the shifter and as always I use Mobil 1 synthetic Industrial grease (which I use the same on machine parts at work)

Next went to the KW V1 Suspension

Another thing id like to note which I've been doing for the local guys with kw v1s I sell and install also for the members that buy the kit from me on here. Always cut the rear bumpstops down. If you install the kw v1 kit and DO NOT cut the rear like I show here ride will be horrible since there is no travel.
You can see a big difference

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Nice work. 15mm wow ... didn't think thats what it took to get flush. Any recommendations of an installer in Socal with Fiat experience? I'm in the san fernando valley.

Tony, I have a question.....
How are you gonna fit those Chrome 24"s on the ABARTH -12mm or the 15mm Spacers :friendly_wink:

All joking aside, the drop came out sweeeeet.

That will look ridiculous, Those cars look fine even with 15s. 30 tire height--that is good recipe for sore butt and cracked rims.

Lmao!! 100% agreed.. Any Fiat 500 with wheel size >17" will look alittle odd, but 20" will be absolutely ridiculous. It will look like a clown car IMO, or one of those 'donks' that you see on the likes of Chevy Caprice and such down south, lol. But to each his own.......... I think the stock upgraded 17" wheels are the best looking wheels on the Abarth, although I have seen some even smaller wheels put on modified examples with flared fenders... I'm talking <15" -- but very wide with fat tires.. almost makes it look like a retro of the original Cinquecento Assetto Corse's from back in the day.

Anyway, the spacers are actually RaceMax 12.5MM --- supposedly a very high quality piece, and also MADE IN ITALY to compliment the Fiat's origins... There is a vendor selling them on eBay actually.
