Ciao, mi amico! I'm with you on this one, the Abarth is a fine budget substitute. Simply close your eyes and listen to the exhaust note...um, just don't do this when you're actually driving!

I have both an old school Ferrari and a newer Maserati. Just picked up an Abarth and I must say, it's just as fun as driving the big boys!

welcome to the Abarth family!

If you are a Ferrari fan, did you get a ROSSO Abarth?

The 80 Ferrari 308 GTSI is old school as I mentioned. Not a fast car, but a head turner. The Maserati Spyder has the F430 drive train with F1 paddle shifters and is fast and a blast to drive. Great interior except for the sticky buttons that the later Ferrari and Maserati's are known for. The Maserati is rock solid while the Ferrari is very temperamental and spends a lot of the time in the shop. They all have that "Italian" attitude about them.

Love the 308's and especially the 288 GTO's..Too bad you are that far away otherwise I would take out my E30 M3 for an old school cruise with you...

Welcome! This little car is a blast and I love surprising people with its handling and speed. My favorite part about owning this car has to be a persons reaction to it initially. You know, making jokes about the car and such. Then after hearing it start up and then driving in it, their attitude about the car totally changes and they understand its awesomeness.

I'm have a similar situation. The Abarth is my Monday thru Thursday car. While I love driving the other Italian cars over the weekend, I equally look forward to turning the ignition on the Abarth Monday morning! Really enjoyable and such a great car for urban City driving.

Poor man's Ferrari? You could say that the Ferrari is the rich man's Fiat.

Not that I don't want one.

You guys might appreciate this company:

Probably the best replica kits available.

Not bad for less than 10 grand.

Tacky, but respectable as far as workmanship!
