Great street tire. Better then P Nero.

But, after a few autocross + 3000 miles driving. I saw cracks incl. one at my sidewall. It's only on one of the tires. Front, driver side.
I hit up my tire shop as i though it might be faulty tire.

Nope, it's cause it's not made for racing. As he put it. I need PRO STREET, at least.
Obvious it's going to cost more then the 595s. And it will be at least 2 tiers. (cha-ching).

Federal RS-R (racing tire) is one option. Thought it street legal is't not recommend for road n highway. (so it says).

Still on 205/40/17. Maybe i should go 215. (plus 1)

What about the Falkens? I just swapped from 205/40/17s to 215/40/17s for the Neu-fs. The Falken rt615ks are very good and run about 145 a tire shipped from discounttiredirect.com. This is my second set and am spoiled already!

My daily driver is the Federal RSR (race tire) 205-45-16 . It's a great sticky tire and I've autoxed a couple of times but normaly use Hoosiers A6. Probable not good if you live in a rainy area.

I have these tires too in 225/45/17 also on NeuF wheels. Excellent quality, good traction, and built tough for racing and hard street driving. Runs smooth and true at high speeds. When these wear out, I'll probably get another set.

I know one other dude who have same tires and no problem. He also do autocross.

I also talked to this BWM dude, who had same tires but different size and no problem.

So...It might just be "that" tire.

I did a hard 20+ laps at a track event last month on my 205/45/16 595 rsr's and driven about 1,000 miles on the street and I have no problems with them but eventually it comes down to you get what you paid for. So far they are treating me good, and I'd buy another set....

Another endorsement for the Fallen Azenis 615. I ran a few track days with this tire on my ole Subaru. They held up well.
