Anyone knows why Fiat call their dealers studios? I don't think they made movies or paint or dance. Just curious. gr_grin

I imagine that was the decision of FIAT, although I don't know how they refer to them in the rest of the world.

It is called a Studio as in "art studio" because they are modeled after modern Italian Design.

Take a look at this Fiat dealer in Europe:

This info is all on my site, so I invite you to check it out. Start at the begining in 2009 and read all the posts. You'll be an expert by the time you are done. Thanks!

Say, none of that occurred at my Studio. Looks like fun!

The Studios (dealerships) do have an artsy quality to them. And the cars themselves are too.

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it remains a pig. I haven't yet seen a Fiat stand-alone "studio", all I have visited have been Chrysler dealerships that happen to sell Fiat's. It was interesting looking at a Viper in the showroom, though....

FIAT's original intent was that the FIAT studio would be a stand alone building, and the two that I've been two are separate, although they use the Chrysler service bays.
