The THSCC added a non-point event to the schedule at NCCAR.
This is close to I95 exit 176 near Roanoke Rapids, NC. For the one living in south VA
or Richmond you are as close to the site than us in Raleigh, NC.

Here a link to the registration.

They will be using part of the track like the last event, that course was awesome. In the registration link there is 2 link
to in car video from that course.

The event yesterday was a lot of fun. This was more Circuitcross than Autocross. They lay out cone on the track to make the course.
I did a good part of the course in 3rd gear, on the finish straight they had a lane change that I was doing flat out in 3rd and straight to the finish.
They had a radar to check speed at the finish line and I was clock at 81mph, the fastest I heard was a Corvette Z06 at 85mph.
From what I saw from the results I am 13 pax and 20 raw. I beat some guys that I never beat before on raw and pax. We will see when the results are posted.
RedRunner seem to have like it also. For his first event in novice it look like that he finish 7 out of 14 Novice, not bad at all considering that some novice had done a few event before.
Here a video from yesterday in a Mustang to give you an idea of the track, I went 2 or 3 sec faster than he did.

Congrats, that is some tough competition with all those Honda S2000s running.

Red Runner, great job for the first time!

Lots of S2000 and Miata - those are hard to beat!

Thanks, and the driver of these S2000 and Miata are no slouch driver also. I’m happy to have beat the Golf R and 1 one of the BRZ. The BRZ driver must have had a bad day
because he is usually all the way up there, maybe it was because is daughter was doing is 1st AX and he got distracted.
For the number of mod. I got on my car it’s not bad. The only Mod. On the engine is the evap re-route, everything else on the engine is stock.
On the suspension I got a set of Eibach pro-kit spring, the rear Neu-f swaybar and now the Dunlop ZII. Only other mod on the car is a Neu-f shift adapter.
I think that an Abarth prep to the max of STC can be really competitive.
