If you don't already know we have been tuning the 500 Abarth. We have made some great numbers with a stock car so far:

8160

There is not much difference between the Abarth and the 500T ECU's. Before I spend a ton of time sorting through the ECU on the 500T... do you want a tune?

I have heard from the customers over the phone and via PM's, but that is only a few people. So I have come to the forums to find out how many we may potentially have.

At the release we will be full sponsoring vendors on this site posting up all the details and additional mods we will be offering. At this time, I will not be talking about price or the other parts we have planned to be fair to the other vendors.

Please let me know what your input is so we can make a decision soon for the 500T community.

Thanks,

John

Keep them coming guys. We need to make sure there is a market for the 500T guys before we move on making a tune for you!

Yes please!!!! Quick question would a 500t yield the same hp as an abarth with identical mods?

Another potential market would be the 500L, they use the same engine.

the 500l is probably more similar to the dart. the trans options and the entertainment center are the same as the dart rather than having "blue & me" like the other 500 models. should be no trouble for these guys. also i'm sure they will build many more 500l than abarths or 500t. on the otherhand it's not as sporty so will people be looking for a tune?

It would be very similar to the Abarth but we need a car in the shop to confirm.

I didn't know that the 500L came with the 1.4 turbo... that is excellent news!!!

If I didn't live so far away I would lend mine. I hope someone jumps on this soon.

Yes, count me in for S2. Have intake and catless dp. Possibly in the future FMIC and ported TB. Tork think also about drop in e-85 injectors that are already available on the market (around $500) and e-85 itself. That would be probably last mods before going to bigger turbo, and give a good bump to power, plus e-85 runs cooler, higher octane and it is around $1 cheper per gal than 93 in Ky. S2 will prob work with all that, but it way be considered s3 already, but other vendor claims those injectors just plug and play.

The larger injectors for E85 are PNP, we are getting a lot of requests for this... we will look more into after we complete the Stage 2 tune.

I'm curious what differences there are between the 500T and Abarth engine wise from the factory.

Personally, I'd just like an moderate tune... straight pipe for similar sound to the Abarth and would be happy with the 160hp crank of the Abarth as well. Just want that and those 57 retro wheels and badges on my 500T and I'm a happy camper.

Nothing different with the engine... just a muffler and 30 less horsepower from the factory tune.

Moderate tune would be our Stage 1 tune and exhaust will be easy!
