Hi every one.
In the owner's manuel you can read:

NOTE: The power window switches will remain active
for up to three minutes after the ignition switch is cycled
to the OFF position. Opening either front door will cancel
this feature.

On my 500l, no power after switch off. We check at dealer, and all 500l made prior to june dont have this delay.
Thats the answer of my dealer.

Something is missing?

Help please.
Thanks.

Hey Katie I have the same thing with my 500L. Zero window power once the ignition switch is turned off, no delay like with Syd.

I can set mine in the uconnect menu under the "engine off" submenu. Either 0 or 20 minutes.

I tried this today. I learned I do have the "one click" down windows (it has to be held longer than I realized) but no power delay w using this setting. And radio stayed on approx 20sec not min after turning off car was only noticeable change.

Hello Katie,

Only to clarify , regardless the VIN #, what is the official reply on that? Asking because my car's behaves the same way as the original post (no power window after car's "shut-down"). So, is this a hardware issue ?, a software fix? So all members here can have an official reply, and course of action.

Thanks!

Mario500L,

The VIN# is important as features and options may vary between VINs. Seeing as you are from the United States it is something you would have to review further with Fiat US Customer Care at 1-800-992-1997 or with my US counterpart, Jonathan (FiatCares).

For Syd's VIN, if the key is in the OFF position the window will be inoperative; this is normal operating condition.

Tank you Katie. But like Mario500l, i would like to Know if it is a cable missing, a relay missing, a bit in the computer.
