Your right foot or a drop in tire pressure of a couple of pounds. When you are maxing out mileage the slightest changes like one extra stop can made a difference. Even coasting down to 25mph from 50 can add 1 or 2 mpg/empg to a 20 mile trip.

Some of the range prediction seems to depend on how you drove your last trip and the AC setting when you turned off the car. If I drove aggressively and left the AC on 64 when I turned off the car, after charging it will show less than 87 miles of range. If my last trip was at 25mph to the grocery store with the AC off, after charging it will show 105 miles of range.

It's nice that it can calculate it like that and it would be more interesting to see if you could get 105 miles out of a charge if you ran around slowly without the AC on. Always good to know how you can stretch a few mores miles out of a charge in case you need to.

This morning my range is at 112! This is the most I've seen yet. Monday was at 110. I think "Sparky" likes my driving pattern. :)

Mine has been consistent at 97 when I use the 120v level 1 charger to 107 when I use the 240v level 2 charger.

Just picked mine up two days ago. 87 miles showing as pulled out of dealership. Showed 99 miles after first 110v charge.

What Vince said. The "range" is an estimation algorithm based upon a look back at your most recent rate of discharge driving habits divided by the available remaining charge. Factors looked at are accessories load (AC, radio, lights, wipers, heaters), terrain (up, down, flat), amount of regenerative events (braking, coasting), aero drag (speed, wind, tire pressure), and acceleration rate. What is uncertain is how far back (time?, miles?) that the system "looks back" to make it's estimate.

Not using power accessories such as a/c and heating clearly increase your driving range!. Fortunately for me, the weather in Central Ca. has been fairly comfortable over the last two weeks so I have been able to drive around town with my windows and sun roof open! Listening to my sirrius xm has made the trips around town great!

At 100% charge, leaving from work to head home:

8213

I have a short commute (7.5 miles) and try to stay on surface streets instead of the freeway (unless I'm in a rush)

Highest I have had so far was 119, full charge after a mostly downhill 35 mile commute.
