Friday I decided to go check out the local dragstrip and decided to do a couple runs while I was there. My buddy recorded my runs and this was my fastest one.

Ended up doing the quarter mile 15.342 @ 88.23MPH

Enjoy

Very nice, is your Abarth stock?

Yes its totally stock, I think my tires were somewhat limiting my grip. I have over 10k and never rotated so with the couple drag runs my fronts are about shot.

Nice run for a stocker! I can't wait until the performance aftermarket becomes a little better. This little machine has major potential.

Dang man that is impressive. I recently took mine (~4k miles on it) and was running just a shade under 17. I was disappointed as it's rated at 15.5. Any tips on getting a quick start in the Abarth (TCS on/off, RPMs at launch, etc..)

I'm also in South Florida so the hot sticky air isn't ideal. I'm not sure how much that affects things..

Anyway, nice job!

I ran 15.08 with all my mods in the Central Florida stickiness. My actuator did have too little preload and I have a very hard time getting grip with the stock all season Pirelli's in first.

Did you ever run it completely stock before the engine mods, etc..?

Yeah I found with TCS off I spun a lot in first, but with TCS on the engine would bog down off the line..

Nope... Never ran it stock and always had ESC fully off.

I ran mine completely stock on stock 16' wheels, 15.26 was my best time.

I did the run with Sport on, ESC partial off and would rev right over 3k, I found that the closer to 4k the more wheel spin with the stock tires and slower time.
