Thought I should make a new thread now that my old Rame is now someone elses.

So...June 25th I drove by the dealership on the way to work and noticed a bunch of 500L's. While I was parked by one I noticed the row of Abarths like usual. I always looked at the Biancos but they always had options I did want which meant prices were $$$. That day was different. At the end of the row was a Bianco with only sunroof and 17" wheels. So I parked my Rame next to it. All day at work I kept thinking of that Bianco so I sent the dealership a quick email seeing if there was anyway to get me out of the Rame and into it.

Well, let's just say by the end of the day I was sweaty from removing stuff out of the Rame and the dealership took this photo:

Over the next couple of days I was tasked with getting all my old stock items together (tail lights, exhaust, springs, intake, etc.) for the dealership and I took off some of the easy stuff. One of the things I got to keep were the Rame mirror's and dash which look great against the Bianco. Dealership actually liked the silver mirrors and dash on the Rame so they wanted to keep them. Those and the turbo tails were my first two mods.

In the next couple of weeks I had to get ready for 2013 FreakOut. I was all set to take the Rame so first on the list was to update MiniMe. I couldn't take a Rame RC car with me :D

And then I'd been playing around with the idea of a stripe but didn't want the stock looking one I had on the Rame. I wanted something different. Came up with this:

Originally had them on the hood but I screwed up the bumper pieces and felt the hood just didn't look right. So pulled them off right after FreakOut...but both were there sporting the stripes.

Hopefully next week I'll have my new ones from Boris. Can't wait to get, install and then take pics. I think they'll fit a little better. The original design had issues and the Rame color was just too hard to match.

A car should not be this much fun. Can anyone recommend any places for therapy? I do have a bunch of $$ left in my flexible spending account :D haha

Congrats (again) on the upgrade! Like the stripes a lot. I think it would look even better if they went beyond the doors though (towards the front of the car - i like where they end at the side skirt)

Car looks great in Person, and its different but tastefully done with the RAME strips, mirrors and dash. You should have told me you brought the RC car...we could have ripped it up in the hotel!! :)

Photo at an old gas station in Aldie, VA. Thought it showed off how great the Eibach Sportlines look.
