This will be the last outing for these Pirellis! These will go on the back; the rears are now on the front and have a little more rubber left.

Ordered a set of BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2 XL in 215-40ZR-17 from TireRack to replace the stock Pirellis. I heard they have great grip and treadwear but a bit noisy.
Noise is not an issue for me as after the 500 mile run-in they will be used mainly for Autocross; I run my 16" for daily use - a little more comfortable.

I moved into 1st place in the championship points standings in NXD class this weekend for the NASA Mid-South region so very pleased! I hope to do even better once I get the new tires mounted.

congrats! What other cars have been competing?
My region G Stock is small, usually an 04 Mustang V6 and I think a 2011 Golf GTI. I like to call it "The Battle of WWII winners VS. losers"

Sunday in NXD we had myself and a '13 Scion FR-S.
Saturday in NXD we had myself and a '04 Honda S2000.
We normally have some Miata's running in that class too but this weekend the Miata's that were running were in the NXB or NXE classes.
The way NASA works is your model car is given a base class plus a base number of mod points. Then, each mod you make you add a certain number of mod points. Once you exceed a certain number of mod points you move to the next class up. Very different from the SCCA
http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/nasa-x_classes.pdf
The Abarth is base class NXE +7 points + another 5 points for the forced induction. The mods I have moved me up to NXD.

The cars I beat over the weekend in raw times were
Porsche 944, '91 Toyota MR2, 98 Mazda Portege, '13 Miata, '95 Toyota T100, '00 Porsche Boxster, '90 Nissan 300ZX, '06 Nissan 350 Z, '95 Miata, '90 Nissan 300Z, '94 Miata, '13 Scion FR-S.
